We've got skills
The designers of ANNY& are skilled in designing. Our craftsmen are very good in making things. Together we create beautiful and original accessories for your home! Based on old crafts, but with a modern twist. All made by hand and with loads of pleasure, so they will last a lifetime (or even longer!)
ANNY& is curious, conscious and creative. We really like it and find it quite important that some people still know how to make stuff them self. The essence of the craft is used, but in our own special way. The cooperation and exchange of skills, ideas and inspiration is very important for us.
Douwe & Wiebren Kunst
At our first visit ANNY& immediately saw the beauty of the carved pottery! Traditionally a mix of patterns (rosettes and geometric patterns) are used to fill the whole surface... read more about our crafters here!

Wickerwork can be old-fashioned, but not when you do it in our way! ANNY& Esmé found a technique which has a nice combination of open and more closed wickerwork. In this way light and shadow make an awesome pattern!

Museum de Kantfabriek
ANNY& and Museum de Kantfabriek have started a collaboration that is about the craft of making lace with a lacemachine. For this project we received a grant of the 'fonds voor cultuur participatie' in the Netherlands. We're going to make a connection between the traditional craft of lace-making and contemporary design. In a study we will look at (former and current) patterns, materials and applications.

Unaware, we were reading our favorite magazine, VTwonen, on a Sunday morning... and suddenly we see our own vase on one of the pages! What a nice surprise!
